Our Advanced Blemish Removal treatments use Electrolysis (Electrocautery), a safe and effective technique that targets unwanted blemishes with a fine probe and controlled electrical current. This process precisely treats the affected area, allowing the blemish to be removed with minimal disruption to the surrounding skin.

The treatment is suitable for a range of common skin concerns and offers immediate results with minimal downtime. It is particularly effective for treating skin tags, milia, pigmentation spots, and other superficial blemishes.

Aftercare

Following treatment, it is important to keep the area clean and allow the skin to heal naturally. The treated area should be gently cleansed daily with mild soap and water and left undisturbed. Any small scabs that form should be allowed to fall away naturally to minimise the risk of scarring.

Where advised, an antiseptic product may be applied to support the healing process. Excessive sun exposure should be avoided, and a high-factor SPF should be used on exposed areas to help prevent post-treatment pigmentation changes. Active skincare products such as exfoliants, retinol, and strong acids should not be applied until the skin has completely healed.

Healing Time

Most areas treated with electrolysis or electrocautery heal within approximately 7–14 days, although healing times may vary depending on the size and location of the blemish and individual skin characteristics.

Consultation Required

A consultation will be carried out prior to treatment to assess the blemish and confirm suitability for removal. Any lesion that appears suspicious or requires further investigation may be referred to a medical professional before treatment can proceed.
