Spotlight On Spray Tans

We are delighted to reintroduce Spray Tans to our list of services here at Brown and White Salon and here’s why…

For those of you who need a tan fast, this is your quickest option.

We use two brands of Spray Tan with different levels of darkness and development time.

Both are Paraben, alcohol, mineral oil and streak free, and both are rapid drying.

Firstly, Sienna Tan with a speedy development time of just one hour to achieve an all over light glow, leave to develop for 2 hours for a medium colour, 3 hours for a dark tan and 4 + hours for an intense all over bronze.

Secondly, Crazy Angel Spray Tan, 13% Solution, for a long-lasting colour with a fragrant smell and a development time of between 4 and 6 hours resulting in a deep dark olive tan. with both Shea butter and vitamin E in the solutions to keep your skin hydrated.

This Treatment starts with you!
Make sure you exfoliate and moisturise your skin the day before your spray tan appointment. Dead skin cells will prevent your tan from lasting as they will shed and take the colour with them. Dry skin will absorb too much spray and go too dark.

The Procedure
Arrive to the salon in dark loose clothing with clean skin free from any creams or deodorants, you will be taken through to the private spray tan room to prepare for your tan.

We provide and advise you to apply barrier cream to dry parts including between your fingers, palms of hands and elbows. We provide sticky feet to protect the soles of your feet. Once you are ready the therapist will enter, consult on the tan that you would like to reach, and the spray will begin.

Looking after your tan
When the development time has been reached and it’s time to shower off do so lightly with only water and then pat dry your skin. Apply moisturiser and then twice daily to keep your skin hydrated meaning the tan will last longer and fade gently without streaking and dry patches.
